The Maton ER90C Custom 'Blacktop' is a custom-colour dreadnought acoustic-electric, originally designed for the US market and reimagined here as an exclusive colourway. Built with an 'AA' grade spruce soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a scalloped Maton X bracing system, it delivers exceptional tone and projection.

The satin finish lets the guitar's voice open up and mature over time, with a deep, powerful tone that still retains bell-like clarity, versatile enough to suit gentle, soft playing as well as aggressive, powerful attack. A mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and the AP5-Pro onboard pickup system round out an instrument built for serious players, ideal for guitarists who want a dreadnought cutaway with genuine Maton craftsmanship and custom styling.

Features

  • 'AA' grade spruce soundboard with Indian rosewood back and sides delivers a deep, powerful voice with bell-like clarity.
  • Scalloped Maton X bracing enhances tone and projection across the dreadnought cutaway body.
  • Mahogany neck with Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge offers comfortable, responsive playability.
  • AP5-Pro onboard pickup system delivers reliable, high-quality amplified tone for stage and studio.
  • Herringbone rosette, gold Grover Rotomatic tuners and tortoiseshell pickguard give the ER90C distinctive custom-colour styling.
