Fenech DBGAC 'Delta Blues' Auditorium Acoustic Electric Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

Introducing the Fenech DBGAC 'Delta Blues' Auditorium Acoustic Electric Guitar, a remarkable instrument that captures the essence of the earliest styles of Blues, specifically the soulful sound of 'The Delta Blues'. Building on the success of our Traditional and Vintage Series, this guitar is crafted with sustainable plantation-grown genuine Mahogany, allowing us to create a guitar that truly embodies the spirit of this iconic genre.

At Fenech, we take great pride in individually optimizing the soundboard, back, and bracing of each Delta Blues guitar. Our expert team of luthiers fine-tune the thickness and intricately carve the bracing by hand, resulting in a true custom shop-level sound and feel. The tone is immense, delivering a huge, big, loud, warm, and clear sound with a touch of natural compression, while the sustain is truly exceptional.

One of the standout features of the Delta Blues series is its ultra-thin nitrocellulose coating, featuring a beautiful dark bourbon stain. Rather than our industry-leading 'super satin' grained filled finish, we've chosen to highlight the natural open grain of the Mahogany, achieving the thinnest possible finish. This allows the body of the guitar to vibrate freely, expanding the tonal character of the Mahogany and resulting in an open and woody sound.

Each piece of Mahogany used in building the Delta Blues is unique, and the way it accepts the stain is also unique, making each Delta Blues model completely original in color. The dark bourbon stain adds a vintage vibe, providing a foundation for players to add their own years of wear, inspiring a relic'd vintage look.
