The Altamira FZ-1 opens up the Fusion series, a line of crossover nylon-string guitars designed for players who want classical roots with modern performance capability. The body draws inspiration from the classic Torres shape, reimagined with a 640mm scale length, 48mm nut width, and a 16-inch radius fingerboard that bridges the gap between classical and steel-string feel. A rounded cutaway extends upper fret access, and the Hanson Adjustable Neck System (ANS) allows precise action setup and reliable long-term playability without a traditional neck reset.
The solid spruce top is paired with laminate maple/sycamore back and sides, keeping the instrument lightweight and feedback-resistant while delivering a clear, articulate tone that suits classical, jazz, and contemporary crossover styles. A Fishman Presys Blend pickup system provides natural amplified tone for stage and studio use.
