The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner™ Center Block Jr. Double-Cut with Bigsby® is more than just a guitar; it's an electrifying music machine designed for three simple things: high-gain-friendly performance, effortless playability, and spectacular style. This sleek and stylish guitar delivers an updated take on That Great Gretsch Sound!™—a sound that's been a rock 'n' roll staple since its inception.
What sets the G2655T Streamliner apart is its twofold secret to sonic brilliance. First, it boasts the Broad'Tron™ BT-2S humbucking pickup, designed specifically for the Streamliner Collection. This high-output pickup delivers improved definition, tighter bass response, robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange—a perfect blend for modern rockers. Second, the guitar features a lightweight chambered mahogany center block that runs the length of the body. This block reinforces the top while eliminating undesired feedback, ensuring volume-friendly performances on contemporary stages.
Your sonic possibilities are further shaped by the traditional control layout, including neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control, and a three-way pickup switch. Add shimmer and expressiveness to your playing with the Bigsby®-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece. The anchored Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and synthetic bone nut provide incredible tuning stability and precise, slip-free intonation.
This guitar features a fast-playing 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Big Block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. It sits atop a white-bound neck with a thin "U"-shaped profile, perfect for both chord work and fiery riffing.
In true Gretsch fashion, this guitar doesn't just sound great—it looks incredible too. With vintage-style black control knobs, enlarged F-holes for enhanced acoustic projection, aged white binding with upgraded purfling, slick nickel hardware, a three-ply black pickguard, and arched laminated maple construction, it's a showstopper.
The G2655T is not only easy to play but also perfect for musicians who want to own the stage and captivate the audience while standing out from the crowd. Elevate your performance with this Gretsch classic and enjoy free shipping from our music store.
