A very limited special edition run for 2003, the Gibson 1963 Retro J-45 features a round-shouldered dreadnought mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top and nitro finish to strike the imitable '60s Gibson balance of rich lows, detailed mids, and mellow highs. All told, it's a recipe for revelatory tone and mammoth projection. The period-correct nut spacing makes for comfortable fingering anywhere on the neck. And '60s-era appointments, including cream strap button and double antiqued binding, make for one unforgettable playing experience.
The classic J-45 tone is there in spades, with a warm, woody and vintage sound that works for any style, and the gorgeous Wine Red finish shows off the tight-grained Sitka Spruce and genuine mahogany back-and-sides. The condition is great, with only minimal playwear and a recent neck reset by Jim Cargill. A classic in every sense! Includes Gibson Custom Case.

Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
