Guild D-55 Acoustic Guitar

Experience the legendary craftsmanship and unparalleled sound of the Guild D-55 Acoustic Guitar, available now at Acoustic Centre. Originally introduced in 1968 as a special-order model, the D-55 quickly became a sought-after instrument, gaining recognition for its exceptional quality and versatility. From its appearances on iconic shows like the Smothers Brothers Show to being embraced by contemporary artists, the D-55 has solidified its place as a timeless classic.

The latest Guild D-55 is the most highly anticipated return of a Guild acoustic to date. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this guitar stays true to the premium appointments of its predecessor. It features a AAA Sitka spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides with a Walnut center seam, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish enhances both the aesthetic appeal and the overall resonance of the instrument.

Internally, the D-55 boasts scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing and an improved dovetail neck-joint, meticulously hand-fitted for optimal performance. These refinements make the latest generation of the D-55 the lightest, loudest, and best-sounding version to date.

With its classic dreadnought body shape, the D-55 delivers a powerful and balanced sound. The mahogany neck with a comfortable C profile and the 12" radius ebony fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl and abalone V-block inlays provide a smooth and enjoyable playing experience.

Equipped with Gotoh gold SE700 open gear tuning machines and a bone nut and saddle, the D-55 ensures precise tuning stability and exceptional sustain. The guitar comes complete with a hardshell case, offering reliable protection for your cherished instrument.

Unleash your creativity and express yourself with the Guild D-55 Acoustic Guitar, now available at Acoustic Centre. Explore the rich tonal palette and exquisite craftsmanship of this instrument, and discover why it has earned its esteemed reputation among musicians worldwide.
