Eric Clapton has relied on Martin OOOs throughout his acoustic career, resulting in huge sales and interest from the 90s onward. In 1995, Martin collaborated with Clapton and released the first of many signature models - the 000-42EC. Very popular and rather expensive, the impact of the 000-42EC resulted in a simpler and more affordable, yet equally excellent model. With Clapton's personal input, the 000-28EC was introduced to great acclaim early in 1996.  
 The 000-28EC has the smaller 000 body size that Clapton prefers and that is particularly popular among fingerstyle and blues guitarists who like a clear and balanced sound together with the string flexibility that the shorter 24.9″ scale length allows. Crafted with solid woods throughout, the sides and back are constructed from solid rosewood, and the top is bookmatched from select Sitka spruce for optimum tonal response.    This 2023-built guitar is immaculate - it's been played very little, and has almost zero sign of being out of it's case! A K&K Pure Mini passive pickup has been installed for natural plugged-in tones, and the setup is perfect with effortless playability. The 000-28EC is one of the absolute classic modern Martin models, and this is a stellar example. Includes original hardshell case.

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).

Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.

All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

The Acoustic Centre ships goods Australia-wide, however at this time we are unable to accept international orders.
