The Maton EBG808 Artist is a small-bodied acoustic electric guitar built around an 808 body shape and a AAA select grade spruce top paired with AA grade figured Blackwood back and sides. This premium tonewood pairing gives the Artist a balanced, responsive voice, with the Blackwood's rich low end and sweet midrange complementing the spruce top's strength and clarity. Finished in a striking tobacco sunburst, the guitar is dressed with mother of pearl snowflake fret markers, herringbone trim around the rosette and inner binding, and rock maple outer binding, giving it a genuinely distinctive look on stage or in the studio.

Under the hood, the EBG808 Artist runs Maton's AP5 Pro pickup system, delivering natural, dynamic amplified tone whenever the guitar needs to be heard through a PA. A Queensland Maple neck and ebony fingerboard and bridge keep the playing feel smooth and consistent all the way up the 21 fret neck, and the guitar arrives complete with a Maton hardcase for safe transport. Ideal for performing songwriters and fingerstyle players after a compact-bodied guitar with full-scale tone and standout looks.
