The Maton Redwood 808 introduces a distinctive new tonal voice within Maton's acclaimed range of Australian-made instruments. A soundboard crafted from sustainably sourced Victorian redwood pairs with Tasmanian myrtle back and sides for a tone that's both familiar and refreshingly unique, the redwood top offering warmth akin to western red cedar with greater treble presence and dynamic responsiveness, while the myrtle adds smooth, maple-like clarity and sustain.

The result is a rich, complex sound full of character and nuance, with every note blooming with depth and harmonic detail in response to even the lightest touch. Combined with Maton's AP5 PRO pickup system and precise craftsmanship, the Redwood 808 is ideal for players after something genuinely distinctive, an expressive, responsive guitar that is as visually striking as it sounds.
