The Rick Turner Model One is hand-crafted at the Rick Turner facility in Santa Cruz, California, by Rick’s hand-picked ensemble of dedicated luthiers.The Model One Featherweight delivers whatever you want: sparking, shimmering highs, (enhanced by the guitar’s phenomenal string-to-string detail and balance); sustain that lasts into next week; crunchy power chords; harmonics made in heaven, (technically made in Santa Cruz). The more you play around with the controls, the more – seemingly endless – tones you’ll discover.
Sonically, the Featherweights have a bit more of an “acoustic” nature to them than most solid body guitars, though you'll have no problem rocking out with the best of them. The Model 1 Featherweight shares the same hardware, pickups, and electronics as the Classic, the difference being in the wood and construction of the body.
This 2017-built Model 1 Featherweight is in incredible condition, with minimal playwear and a great low action. This particular guitar features stunning figured Amazon Rosewood (Dalbergia Spruceana) - a very close relative to Brazilian Rosewood. It's a simply gorgeous handmade electric guitar, with endless tones on tap and unique yet classic style. Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
