The Taylor West African Crelicam Ebony Slide offers players a uniquely warm, expressive voice that sets it apart from traditional metal or glass slides. Milled from the same premium ebony used on Taylor guitar fingerboards, this lightweight slide softens the attack of each note for a smooth, organic tone that’s especially forgiving on acoustic instruments. Its natural wood grain and rich texture provide excellent control and a comfortable feel during long sessions.

Sourced and processed in Cameroon as part of Taylor’s Ebony Project, each slide represents a commitment to ethical forestry and sustainable craftsmanship. Available in a range of sizes from 11/16" to 7/8", these slides deliver the perfect balance of tonal warmth, grip, and visual beauty for players who care about tone and the story behind their gear.

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).

Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.

Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.

All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

The Acoustic Centre ships goods Australia-wide, however at this time we are unable to accept international orders.

    Good stuff warm sound and string buzz not so noticeable want different sizes for switching between ring and pinky on fretting hand

    Ebony Slide

    Everything I ordered arrived surprisingly fast. The wooden slide was a slightly a different ball game compared to regular slides, but sounded great with an acoustic, loosened into open tunings- lovely sound and allows much more agility than heavier materials!

    Everything I ordered arrived surprisingly fast. The wooden slide was a slightly a different ball game compared to regular slides, but sounded great with an acoustic, loosened into open tunings- lovely sound and allows much more agility than heavier materials!

    Woody Slide

    I'm not a very experienced slide person so I'm just buying all of them basically. What I can say is these wooden ones feel very woody, but smooth and have a quieter and warmer sound. They feel good on the finger and seem to work best on electric where you can get a little more volume. AC processing great as usual.
