The Mozztronics AP-1 is a handcrafted acoustic preamp and DI pedal built for players who demand detailed tone and ultimate control. Made in Melbourne, Australia, this all-analogue preamp is designed specifically for piezo-equipped acoustic guitars and offers a wide range of tone-shaping tools often missing from factory-installed preamps. With a studio-grade 4-band EQ and a transparent signal path, the AP-1 ensures your acoustic tone is always natural, balanced, and ready for the stage or studio.
Tailored for flexibility, the AP-1 features BASS, LO MID, HI MID, and TREBLE controls alongside a 100Hz High Pass Filter to tame boominess or soundboard thumps. The GAIN knob adjusts the instrument input level while the VOL control manages your master output. A toggleable internal switch lets you select either BYPASS or MUTE operation for the XLR DI out, and an earth LIFT switch ensures clean, hum-free signal transmission. Simple to use yet incredibly powerful, the AP-1 is a no-compromise tone tool for acoustic musicians.

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
