The Martin 0-10E Retro Jason Isbell is a heartfelt tribute to one of America’s most respected songwriters, blending vintage soul with modern performance. Inspired by the 1940s 0-17 that accompanied Jason Isbell through his acclaimed Foxes in the Snow sessions, this compact 0-14 fret model captures the warm, intimate tone of its pre-war predecessor. With an all-solid mahogany body and satin finish, the 0-10E offers a focused, balanced sound full of earthy mids and sweet, singing trebles — ideal for fingerstyle, songwriting, and recording.

Martin worked closely with Isbell to ensure the feel and playability match his own touring guitars. The Performing Artist neck with high-performance taper provides effortless comfort, while scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and projection. Equipped with Martin’s E1 pickup system and built-in tuner, it’s equally at home on stage or in the studio. Finished in dark mahogany with subtle vintage appointments, the 0-10E Retro embodies the spirit of honest, roots-driven music.
