    Martin 00 15m

Simply beautiful tone, extremely comfortable to play and so light. I also love the stripped down plain appearance that belies the build quality And sound. The staff at the acoustic centre were excellent to deal with and would definitely purchase from them in the future

    Understated Perfection

This is my first Martin. I’ve had it for a week now and love it. The build quality is sublime, you can’t fault it. Yes, it’s a simple no frills guitar but that simplicity is part of the appeal. The satin is so very light and silky, the neck feels very comfortable. The guitar is so light, It becomes clear very quickly that Martin have nailed this model. Being a small body all mahogany guitar you might expect a subdued lower end experience but this is very well balanced and very resonant. It’s warm and woody in the lower end and has this amazing ethereal quality in the higher end. For me, this guitar has a real vintage intimacy about it’s sound. It’s a versatile tribute to mahogany and you get that mahogany smell thrown in for free. I don’t think there is a better value bang for buck American made guitar! If your considering an all mahogany guitar, you really can’t go past the oo15m.

    A real surprise!

As a teenager who started playing guitar in the late 60s and a huge fan of Crosby,Stills,Nash & Young, I was in Love with their Martin Acoustic ( D18 D28 etc.) guitars and vowed when I got enough money, would buy one. Fast forward to the 21st century when I had the funds to purchase a 'good' guitar, I went looking for a Martin.Unfortunately every one I picked up just didn't feel right in my hand...the necks just didn't seem to have that 'quick' playable feel. I then picked up a Taylor T5...oh man!...that fast neck...I was in love! About 3 yrs passed, and I was still in love with this guitar. I happened upon someone selling a brand new 00-15 M. I went around to his house and the minute wrapped my fingers around that neck...it was...'boom' that quick, playable feel I got from the Taylor! I bought it on the spot. I love everything about this instrument.... The body size...the tone...the 'minimalist' look...no flash...the butter bean open-backed tuners ( a retro look) In short, the guitar is now my 'go to' one...and the Taylor, though I still love it spends more time in it's case. Too bad I can only give a 5 star rating!!!!

    Great value companion

I've had one of these for about 4 years now. I bought it initially as a glorified couch guitar, thinking it'd be a handy small bodied option. What I've found is that it's so much more than that. Easy to play, with a warm tone perfect for fingerstyle and blues, it gets a real honk on when you dig in with a pick. It is, to me, the simplicity of this machine that makes me pick it up all the time. A box of nice mahogany, well crafted, a joy to play, and great bang for buck even before you factor in "cost per play".

    Amazing Guitar!

Bought this guitar about 4 years ago and still wouldn't consider any other, beautiful timber, warm tone, and so nice to play!

    My new best friend!

Understated looks, big on tone. Warm, woody, resonant are words that spring to mind when describing this great little guitar. Very comfortable to play, great neck and overall very nice fit and finish as you'd expect from Martin. Blues, Folk and fingerstyle? This is your guitar.

Big warm sound from small body.

This is the first small body guitar I've owned and over the last 5 years we have been on a wonderful journey together. The warmth and depth of sound from the mahogany suits which ever genre of music I'm playing. The action is excellent so no matter I'm finger picking or strumming out with a pick I get the sound I need. A great guitar for very reasonable money! Thank you Matin!
