The Taylor 214ce-K DLX Sunburst is a beautifully appointed acoustic-electric that combines the allure of Hawaiian koa with the tonal benefits of a torrefied Sitka spruce top in Taylor's flagship Grand Auditorium cutaway body - elevated with the Deluxe package's upgraded appointments and finished in a warm, richly layered Sunburst that deepens beautifully across the koa's natural figure. Hawaiian koa is one of the most visually and tonally distinctive tonewoods in the world - prized for its gorgeous figuring, warm and complex tone, and the kind of sweet, shimmering midrange character that sets it apart from any mainland tonewood. The layered koa back and sides deliver this character reliably and consistently while adding the durability and stability that makes this guitar genuinely travel and performance-ready.

The torrefied Sitka spruce top - roasted using Taylor's special recipe to replicate the tonal character of a well-played vintage instrument - pairs with the koa's natural warmth for a vibrant, balanced, and room-filling voice with a sweet, played-in depth well beyond what an untreated spruce top can provide. Taylor's V-Class bracing with cantilevered design dials up more volume, longer sustain, and clearer note-to-note harmony throughout the fingerboard, while the ES2 electronics with behind-the-saddle design capture more of the guitar's dynamic properties for natural, faithful amplified performance. Gold hardware, full-body gloss finish, Sentinel fingerboard inlays, and a deluxe hardshell case complete a Deluxe appointment package of genuine visual distinction. Ideal for players who want striking koa aesthetics, genuine tonal character, and reliable electronics in a versatile, comfortable Grand Auditorium package.
