The Taylor Next Generation Builder's Edition 524ce represents the most ambitious and fully-realised expression of Taylor's current design philosophy - a Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric that brings together an extraordinary mahogany and ash tonewood pairing, Scalloped V-Class bracing, the Action Control Neck system, and Taylor's refined Claria electronics in a package of exceptional tonal sophistication and playability. The neotropical mahogany top is the defining tonal choice - a selection that produces a harmonically rich, midrange-focused voice with stacked, blooming overtones and a chewy, organic character that suits a broad range of players and musical styles. Urban ash back and sides add a focused, fundamental-strong quality and a subtle, eminently musical character that frames the mahogany top's warmth with clarity and definition. The Kona Burst finish draws the full beauty of these tonewoods together in a deep, richly layered visual statement.

Scalloped V-Class bracing - Taylor's evolution of their original V-Class design, achieved by carefully paring away material from key locations on each brace - delivers the bass thump and harmonic cohesion of a traditional X-braced instrument while preserving V-Class's signature pitch accuracy, rich sustain, and crisp note-to-note definition throughout the fingerboard. The Action Control Neck allows neck angle adjustment without removing the neck or strings, and the long-tenon joint increases heel stiffness for deeper tone with greater low-end resonance. Taylor's Claria under-saddle electronics system - road-tested with the world's biggest touring acts - provides warm, acoustic-accurate amplified tone with plug-and-play simplicity via soundhole-mounted Volume, Tone, and Mid-Contour controls. A beveled armrest, chamfered body edges, 15" radius Crelicam ebony fingerboard with Italian acrylic and faux pearl Compass inlays, and Gotoh 510 tuning machines complete a Builder's Edition of exceptional distinction and refinement.
