The Altamira Santos Hernandez 1921 Historical Replica is a faithful tribute to one of the most celebrated Spanish luthiers of the early twentieth century, built to mirror the dimensions and character of the original 1921 instrument. A spruce soundboard is paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, braced with traditional Spanish fan bracing in the Torres style to deliver the fast response, warm resonance, and tonal balance that defined the golden era of Spanish classical guitar making. The neck is constructed using traditional Spanish heel joinery with a cedar neck, keeping the build as true to period practice as possible.

The French polish finish is applied by hand, preserving the natural acoustic properties of the tonewoods and giving the guitar the kind of intimate, immediate response that lacquer-finished instruments rarely match. Classic rope-style purfling and authentic 1921 styling complete the aesthetic, making this an instrument that is as visually compelling as it is musically rewarding. An ideal choice for concert-level classical players and serious collectors who want the feel and voice of a historic instrument without the fragility and expense of an original.
