The Alvarez Laureate 70E Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar from the Laureate Series embodies meticulous craftsmanship and premium materials, delivering exceptional quality and performance.
Handcrafted Excellence:The Laureate Series represents a bench-made approach to guitar construction, where every component is meticulously selected for optimal quality. From the bridge plate to the bracing and kerfing, each part is carefully chosen to ensure structural integrity and superior sound production.
Hand-Finished Bracing:Featuring FS6 bracing, hand-sanded for precision and crafted from quartersawn Sitka spruce, the bracing pattern enhances overall response and vibration. This attention to detail elevates the guitar's tonal clarity and projection.
Finest Tonewoods: Crafted with the finest tonewoods available, the Laureate 70E boasts AAAA solid North American Sitka spruce for the top and solid East Indian rosewood for the back and sides. These premium materials contribute to the guitar's rich, resonant tone and exceptional playability.
Flawless Finish: Alvarez has perfected its sanding and painting process to deliver a flawless, deep shine with the thinnest clear coat ever achieved. The addition of the Daybreak color option provides a vintage-style aesthetic depth to the top, enhancing its visual appeal.
Premium Appointments: Featuring bridges, fingerboards, and headstock plates made from the finest African ebony, the Laureate 70E offers articulate clarity and note separation. The use of rare Blue Abalone inlays adds a touch of luxury to the guitar's understated elegance.
Traditional Styling: With its traditional body shape inspired by guitars from the late 1800s to the 1930s, the Laureate series maintains a classic aesthetic. The single-level ebony bridge pays homage to traditional guitar designs while ensuring optimal sound transmission.
