The Alvarez Laureate 70E Dreadnought is part of Alvarez's flagship Laureate Series, built with an AAAA-grade solid North American Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides for a powerful, articulate voice with deep lows, brilliant highs and lush overtones. Hand-sanded FS6 bracing, made from quartersawn Sitka spruce, adds responsiveness and sustain, giving the 70E the clarity, projection and tonal nuance that dreadnought players look for.

African ebony is used throughout the fingerboard, bridge and headplate for articulate note separation and long-term durability, finished with blue abalone inlays for a touch of understated elegance. The LR Baggs HiFi pickup system delivers a faithful, natural amplified tone, making this dreadnought ideal for players who want heirloom-quality Laureate Series craftsmanship on stage or in the studio.
