Alvarez MD70BG Acoustic Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

The Alvarez MD70BG Acoustic Guitar is a stunning instrument designed for players seeking optimal full tone and modern dynamics in a Bluegrass-style dreadnought guitar. Building upon the success of the MD60BG model, the MD70BG takes power and clarity to a new level with its rosewood construction.

The instant response and clear, robust notes of the MD70BG set it apart. The rosewood tonewood contributes to the guitar's sonorous bass frequencies and shimmering trebles, creating a balanced and rich tonal profile. When strummed, the FS6 bracing system and AAA Sitka spruce top work together to deliver clarity, separation, and balanced sound across all six strings.

In terms of aesthetics, the MD70BG pays homage to traditional Bluegrass instruments. It features open gear nickel tuners, classic inlays, a premium tortoiseshell-style pickguard, and a flawless gloss finish. These beautiful details enhance the overall appeal of the guitar.

The projection and tonal reach of the MD70BG are outstanding, making it difficult to put down. Its powerful open voicing and instant response make it an excellent choice for players who value a traditional, all-solid dreadnought guitar with exceptional sound quality.

Overall, the Alvarez MD70BG Acoustic Guitar is a fantastic instrument that combines traditional design elements with modern dynamics. Its rosewood construction, FS6 bracing system, and AAA Sitka spruce top contribute to its exceptional tonal qualities. Whether you're a Bluegrass enthusiast or a guitarist seeking a powerful and versatile instrument, the MD70BG delivers outstanding performance at an exceptional price point.

    Alvarez MD60BG -

Delivered in timely manner in brand new condition no faults. I think it will take a lot of playing to get to a more mellow tone. It’s very treble oriented. I swapped out the Ebony bridge pins for a rosewood which has made it have a little more bottom end. A great quality full solid body acoustic. Moulded gig bag is excellent. Highly recommended for the price.
