The Alvarez RD26CE 'Sunburst' is a well-rounded entry-level dreadnought that blends solid craftsmanship, impressive tone and reliable electronics at a beginner-friendly price. Part of the Alvarez Regent Series, the RD26CE pairs a spruce top with mahogany back and sides for a warm, full-bodied sound with excellent projection, while its dreadnought cutaway shape and scalloped X bracing let the top resonate freely for added clarity and responsiveness.
Designed with the student or casual player in mind, the RD26CE offers a slim mahogany neck profile for comfortable, easy playing, while the Techwood fingerboard and bridge provide smooth performance and durable tone transfer. The built-in SYS250 pickup and EQ system makes plug-and-play amplification straightforward, and the sunburst finish with ivory ABS binding gives it a visually appealing look. Supplied with a padded gig bag, it is ideal for lessons, gigs or practising at home.
