The Cole Clark Angel 2 EC brings together AA grade Bunya pine top with AA grade rosewood back and sides in a all-solid cutaway Grand Auditorium body, producing a tonally rich and responsive instrument with a distinctive Australian character. Bunya pine is a uniquely Australian tonewood that delivers a warm, complex voice with strong fundamental response and a natural clarity that sits beautifully in a mix, while rosewood back and sides add depth, sustain, and extended high-frequency detail. The internally carved top and back allow the tonewoods to vibrate more freely, increasing sensitivity and projection across the dynamic range, and the Spanish Heel neck construction integrates neck and body for enhanced sustain and long-term structural integrity.
An ebony fingerboard and bridge sharpen articulation and note separation, and Plek fret dressing ensures consistent action and intonation under string tension. The Cole Clark PG3 three-way pickup system blends a strip piezo for lows, a face sensor crossed over at 350Hz for mids, and a microphone engaging at 6kHz for high-frequency detail, delivering a natural amplified tone with strong feedback resistance for live performance. A 44mm nut width, 12-inch radius fingerboard, and 25.5" scale length make this a comfortable and versatile instrument, well suited to fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and gigging musicians who want an all-solid Australian-made guitar with serious stage capability.
