The Mozztronics AP-2 is a powerful and flexible dual-channel acoustic preamp and DI pedal built specifically for musicians who demand clean, detailed tone and professional-grade control. Handcrafted in Melbourne, Australia, the AP-2 was originally developed for Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything) and is ideal for guitarists, mandolin players, or anyone using piezo-equipped acoustic instruments. Its compact design eliminates the need for separate DI boxes or EQ pedals, delivering two independent channels with dedicated volume controls and a shared 4-band EQ.
Built entirely with an all-analogue signal path, the AP-2 delivers pristine tone without coloration. Fine-tune your sound with the BASS, LOW MID, HIGH MID, and TREBLE controls, plus a 100Hz high-pass filter to reduce low-end rumble. Switch between instruments effortlessly using the CHANNEL footswitch, and engage the MUTE footswitch to silence the XLR output while keeping the 1/4" output live—perfect for quick changes during a gig. Whether on stage or in the studio, the AP-2 ensures precise tone shaping and reliable signal delivery.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
