The service was good and delivery was fast but the Spring Loaded Thumb Pick is just a gimmick and not worth buying.
Seem Good quality and work well. Best thumb picks I’ve used so far
good quality product best thumb pick I've used
Initially I ordered 2 thin picks. Great product. Fits very well so I don’t have soak the normal plastic ones in hot water to get the size right. I have since ordered 2 more , medium and heavy. Acoustic Centre is my go to on line store. Thanks David
Ordered a JourneyTek pickup, plus some strings and a Black Mountain thumbpick on a Sunday afternoon .... parcel was at the post office Wednesday morning in rural Victoria. Can't ask for better service than that !
Nice, comfortable thumb pick. Purchased this to allow easy transition from finger picking to flat picking. For me the more or less fixed pick position does not allow enough flexibility to cover fast alternate picking or picking with a softt touch. It has to come off for me to flat pick.
These are great
I’m not really a fan of picks but this is by the best pick I’ve used to date. Shipping was super quick I will definitely buy from this store again.
Highly recommended for folks with arthritis in picking hand. Using a standard pick aggravated the arthritis in my right thumb but no issues whatsoever with this pick. These are easy and comfortable to use. I assume they are standard tension. If you order from the Black Mountain US website, you have the option of standard or tight tension. May I suggest Acoustic Centre specifies the tension of the picks they sell in the description. AustPost tracking could only be described as a joke or rather, non existent!! However the team at Acoustic Centre gladly provided me info on the status (tracking) of my package. Thanks team
Great service. Prompt delivery. Great product. I will definitely buy from the Acoustic Centre again.
Very good to use as a flat pick & will be good as thumb picks after some practice
Very good, the item is as advertised and even though I only spent $9 the shipping was free and fast. I would definitely consider Acoustic Centre for a more hefty investment.
The Black Mountain Pick is working well. I wasn’t sure about the stability of the unit but it has proven to work well for me.
A different sort of pick that I think will take some getting used to. The pressure on the thumb is quite strong and takes time to adjust to. I find the picks to be a bit noisy, making a clicking sound when contacting the strings. I think they will definitely help with having difficulty hanging on to a flat pick. My worn out Tradies hands have plenty of strength but no fingerprints to grip with. Time will tell!
I have to get used to using the pick because I have never used a pick before and only use my thumb. It will probably take a little time but I think that will the way to go for me
Thumb pick is great but cost of delivery was ridiculously high for such a small item
