BlueChip Thumb Picks are handmade in Franklin, Tennessee from a patented, self-lubricating composite material, then laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create what's widely regarded as the best thumb pick available. This JD Crowe-style dobro/resonator thumb pick uses a slightly thicker blade than a regular banjo pick, built to withstand the more strenuous demands of dobro playing.

It's constructed with a custom-designed stainless steel band and a 60/1000-inch (1.50mm) thick BlueChip pick in a large size. Ideal for dobro and resonator players who want a secure, durable thumb pick that can handle heavy attack without losing tone or speed.
