BlueChip Thumb Picks are built using a custom-designed stainless steel band riveted to a Vespel BlueChip pick, then laser etched, professionally machined, and hand beveled to create what many players call the best thumb pick available. They're handmade in Franklin, Tennessee, from the same patented, self-lubricating composite material used across the BlueChip range, known for its tone, speed, and grip.

This BR model is inspired by Russ Carson and is the same thumb pick he plays, built with a custom-designed stainless steel band and a talon-shaped BlueChip pick in a large size. Ideal for banjo and mandolin players who want the security of a thumb pick without sacrificing the tone and speed BlueChip is known for.
