Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

The Cort Gold-MC6 Ovangkol is a premium all-solid acoustic-electric that delivers seasoned, vintage-like tone from the very first note - thanks to a torrefied solid Sitka spruce top that has been carefully heat-treated to replicate the tonal maturity typically achieved only through decades of natural ageing. The result is a top that is immediately open, responsive, and rich with character, with the added dimension of continuing to develop further over time as the guitar is played in. Solid ovangkol back and sides add warmth and clarity across the full tonal range, complementing the torrefied top's natural power and nuance in a combination that produces a dynamic, expressive voice well-suited to both strumming and intricate fingerstyle playing.

Every construction detail reflects Cort's commitment to genuine premium quality - hand-scalloped X-bracing, a dovetail neck joint, walnut-reinforced mahogany neck with Comfort C profile, Macassar ebony fingerboard and bridge, genuine bone nut and saddle, gold custom abalone and mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays, deluxe vintage gold tuners, and a Fishman Flex Blend pickup system that blends an internal microphone with the undersaddle pickup for natural, true-to-life amplified tone. An abalone and ABS multi-ring rosette, tortoise pickguard, black ABS binding with black and aged white body purfling, and a round volute headstock with abalone and mother-of-pearl appointments complete an instrument of considerable refinement and visual elegance. Supplied with a Cort Premium gig bag. Ideal for performing singer-songwriters, fingerstyle players, and discerning acoustic guitarists who want a genuinely premium all-solid instrument with vintage-inspired tonal character and reliable stage-ready electronics.
