Fender California Deluxe Redondo CE ‘Sherwood Green’ Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Fender California Deluxe Redondo CE is a stage-ready dreadnought cutaway acoustic-electric that brings the California Series’ decade-long design heritage to a refined and versatile package in one of Fender’s most distinctive and immediately recognisable body shapes. The Redondo’s full-size dreadnought proportions deliver the bold projection and commanding presence that suits everything from intimate home writing sessions to filling a large live venue, while the Venetian cutaway opens up the upper register for melodic and lead playing without compromising the body’s acoustic volume or depth.

The Sherwood Green gloss finish is the defining visual statement of this model - a deep, classic green with vintage California cool that pairs beautifully with the tortoiseshell binding, pearloid rosette, and Jazzmaster-shaped headstock for a coherent aesthetic that is entirely Fender in character. Solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing and laminate mahogany back and sides deliver a full, balanced acoustic tone with the kind of open, resonant response that rewards both strumming and fingerpicking equally well. Fishman CD-1 preamp with onboard tuner and full EQ controls makes plugging in effortless, while the slim C-shaped mahogany neck with 25.5" scale length, 1.6875" nut width, walnut fingerboard, and sealed die-cast split-shaft tuners provide a comfortable, electric-familiar playing feel and reliable tuning stability through the longest sets. Ideal for singer-songwriters, gigging musicians, and players who want solid-top acoustic performance with reliable stage-ready electronics in a visually distinctive package.
