The Cole Clark CCAN2EC brings together two of the finest tonewoods available in a hand selected pairing, with an AA grade Himalayan Cedar top and AA grade African Mahogany back and sides that deliver a warm, complex voice with plenty of headroom. The internally carved top and back are a Cole Clark signature, thinning the timber in precise areas to open up resonance and projection without sacrificing structural strength, so this Grand Auditorium cutaway has the volume and dynamic range to hold its own on stage or shine in a quiet room.

Himalayan Cedar is a true cedar, not to be confused with the Western Red Cedar commonly used in guitar tops, and it's one of the rarest timbers Cole Clark uses. The wood requires close to a decade of natural drying before it's stable enough to use, so a top built from this timber is a genuine rarity that produces a rich, complex tone with excellent projection. A nitrocellulose satin finish lets the timber breathe and age gracefully, the Cole Clark PG3 True Acoustic pickup system captures the guitar's natural character when plugged in, and Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle, rosewood bridge and fretboard with abalone dot inlays, and Grover machine heads round out a build that is ideal for players chasing a rare, individual voice in a stage-ready acoustic-electric, arriving home in a Cole Clark tweed hardcase with a matching pickguard included.
