The Cole Clark FL3EC Redwood / Blackwood is a top-of-the-line instrument that showcases exquisite craftsmanship and exceptional tonal qualities. It features a stunning Australian-grown Redwood top with unique figuring, paired with Australian Blackwood back and sides, and its solid timber cutaway dreadnought body has an internally carved top and back for a rich, resonant sound. The Redwood top's distinct visual figuring and the Blackwood back and sides combine for real tonal complexity and projection.
Equipped with Cole Clark's 3-way pickup system, this guitar offers a versatile range of amplified tones suited to a variety of playing styles and environments, capturing the natural acoustic sound faithfully for an authentic performance. The neck is Queensland Maple Silkwood for stability and a smooth playing feel, and the ebony fretboard, bridge and bridge pins are finished with timber and abalone inlays, making the FL3EC ideal for discerning players who want boutique-level tone with genuine playing comfort. Note it isn't designed for percussive playing techniques.
