This guitar features a stunning Australian-grown Redwood top with unique figuring, paired with Australian Blackwood back and sides. With its high-quality tonewoods and advanced electronics, this guitar delivers remarkable acoustic sound and performs exceptionally well in live settings.

The FL3EC boasts a solid timber cutaway dreadnought body shape, with an internally carved top and back. The Redwood top, sourced from Australia, offers a distinct visual appeal and contributes to the guitar's rich and resonant sound. The Australian Blackwood back and sides further enhance the instrument's tonal complexity and projection.

The nut width measures 44mm (1.73 inches), providing a comfortable playing experience.

The guitar is finished with a lightweight satin Nitrocellulose finish, allowing the high-quality timbers to resonate and breathe naturally. It comes with a high-quality Cole Clark hardshell tweed case for protection during transportation and storage.

Overall, the Cole Clark FL3EC Redwood/Blackwood Acoustic Guitar is a remarkable instrument, both visually and sonically, suitable for discerning musicians who appreciate exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding acoustic performance.

PLEK machines are built and sold by A+D Gitarrentechnologie of Berlin, Germany. The machines were developed by musician and guitar instructor Gerd Anke with his partner Michael Dubach, who called their company PLEKTRON when it was founded in 1990. The goal of the PLEK process they created is to guarantee the best possible string action for each instrument. Simply put, a guitar with optimized playability sounds better. The strings do not strike the frets during playing and any intonation problems that may occur due to too-low string action are eliminated. Similarly, action that’s too high is also a thing of the past with PLEKing.

The PLEKing process is done by CNC (computer numerical control) machines, which use microprocessors to perform their tasks. That doesn’t mean human craftspeople are excluded from this process. The PLEK machine is ultimately a tool to reduce variances between guitars, which allows Cole Clarks expert builders to do their jobs more efficiently
