Like its larger sibling the CJ-35, the C10-35SB produces a dry, punchy, and snarly acoustic tone with a beautifully even response across the full frequency range - all delivered in the compact, comfortable C10 package that has made this body size a favourite among fingerstyle players and flatpickers alike. The combination of a Sitka spruce top, Honduran mahogany back and sides, and pre-war non-scalloped Adirondack X-bracing with two tone bars gives this guitar a tonally focused, immediate character with a forward attack and remarkable clarity.

Wenge fingerboard and bridge, ivoroid body binding, a simple ivoroid rosette with b/w purfling, Waverly nickel tuners with ivoroid buttons, a tigerstripe pickguard, ebony peghead veneer with ivoroid Collings logo, and a bone cutthrough saddle with ivoroid bridge pins complete a specification that is as thoughtful and considered as every guitar Collings builds in their Austin, Texas workshop.
