The Collings CJ is a modern take on the classic slope-shouldered dreadnought, delivering a bold and articulate voice with exceptional projection and balance. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, this jumbo-bodied acoustic offers a rich, complex tonal palette that’s perfect for everything from fingerstyle to strumming-heavy rhythm work. Its slightly percussive low-end makes it a top choice for acoustic blues players and singer-songwriters alike.

This CJ model is adorned with grained ivoroid binding on the body, fingerboard, and peghead, along with elegant MOP long dot inlays and a three-style chevron backstrip. The ebony fingerboard and belly-style bridge provide classic tonewood pairing, while the pre-war scalloped X-bracing enhances tonal clarity and responsiveness. Finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer with a tortoise pickguard and nickel Waverly tuners, the CJ reflects Collings' legendary build quality and tonal precision.
