Manuel Rodríguez Magistral D-C 'Cedar / Mahogany' Classical Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

The Manuel Rodriguez Magistral D-C 'Cedar / Mahogany' Classical Guitar is a masterfully handcrafted instrument that exemplifies the tradition and refinement of Spanish guitar making. Featuring an all-solid wood construction, this 4/4 guitar combines a warm, expressive solid cedar top with the rich resonance of solid mahogany back and sides, producing a tone that is both deep and articulate—perfect for concert performances or advanced study.

Built for comfort and tonal precision, the Magistral D-C includes a real cedro neck with ebony reinforcement and a flatter D-profile for a modern playing feel. The ebony fingerboard and Indian rosewood bridge ensure smooth response and long-lasting durability. Enhanced with a compensated vintage bone nut and bridge inlay, a 12-hole “Moreno” bridge, and a factory-installed GEWA armrest, this guitar offers outstanding intonation, sustain, and playing ergonomics. Elegant details like the wooden rosette, real wood binding, and gold-plated tuners round out this exceptional instrument.
