Cort Gold-A8 'Light Burst' Acoustic Electric Guitar

Free shipping Australia-wide on all Cort Guitars!

The Cort Gold-A8 'Light Burst' Acoustic Electric Guitar is a versatile and high-quality instrument that offers exceptional sound and playability. It is designed to cater to various playing styles, making it suitable for a wide range of acoustic players.

Here are the features of the Cort Gold-A8:

  • Aged to Vintage Top (ATV): The solid Sitka spruce top undergoes a special torrefaction process called ATV (Aged to Vintage) to deliver the rich and open tone reminiscent of a vintage instrument. This process allows the guitar to have a mature and resonant sound right out of the box.

  • Solid Sitka Spruce Top (Master Grade): The premium-grade solid Sitka spruce top offers excellent strength and dense grain, allowing it to resonate freely. It produces a brilliant and clear high-end, warm and rich midrange, and a deep, tight low-end for a well-balanced sound.

  • Solid Pau Ferro Back and Sides: Pau Ferro, also known as Morado, Santos Rosewood, or Bolivian Rosewood, shares many qualities with Indian Rosewood. It is stable, abrasion-resistant, hard, attractive, and provides good impression strength parallel to the grain. The solid Pau Ferro back and sides contribute to the guitar's tonal characteristics.

  • Fishman Flex Blend System: The Fishman Flex Blend System offers advanced sonic control and includes a built-in tuner. With volume, tone, phase, blend, and tuner controls, you can easily shape your amplified sound to suit your preferences. The system is designed to deliver a natural acoustic sound with excellent feedback resistance.

  • DoubleLock Neck Joint: The tight-fitting traditional dovetail neck joint is reinforced with a bolt, known as the DoubleLock neck joint. This enhances the transfer of tone and resonance, resulting in improved overall sound quality.

  • Walnut Reinforced Neck: The neck is reinforced with two walnut inserts for added stability and rigidity. This construction technique ensures the neck remains sturdy while retaining the natural properties of wood.

  • Ebony Fingerboard: The jet-black beauty and smoothness of ebony make it an excellent choice for the fingerboard. Ebony offers a slick playing surface and enhances the overall aesthetic of the guitar.

  • Ebony Bridge Pins: The high density of ebony bridge pins helps maintain focus and tightness in the acoustic sound, providing greater sonic projection compared to plastic. They contribute to the efficient transfer of string vibrations throughout the guitar's body and neck.

  • Genuine Bone Nut & Saddle: For a natural and organic sound and feel, the Gold-A8 features a genuine bone nut and saddle. These critical contact points allow the strings to vibrate freely and transfer energy into the guitar's body, resulting in enhanced tone.

  • Sonically Enhanced UV Finish: The high-tech UV finish applied to the Gold-A8 is not only resistant to scratches but also lightweight, allowing for improved natural acoustic resonance. The finish contributes to the guitar's full-bodied and rich tone.

The Cort Gold-A8 'Light Burst' Acoustic Electric Guitar combines high-quality materials, craftsmanship, and advanced electronics to provide a versatile and exceptional playing experience. It comes with a deluxe soft case for convenient transportation and storage.
