Cort Gold-O6 Acoustic Electric Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

Includes Hardshell Case

The Cort Gold-O6 Acoustic Electric Guitar is a standout in Cort’s premium Gold Series, delivering the look, feel, and sound of a well-played vintage instrument—with modern reliability and craftsmanship. Built on a traditional OM (Orchestra Model) body shape, the Gold-O6 is ideal for fingerstyle players and singer-songwriters seeking responsiveness, clarity, and tonal richness in a compact, stage-ready format.

At the heart of its tone is a torrefied solid Sitka spruce top, treated using Cort’s Aged to Vintage (ATV) process. This advanced curing technique simulates the aging of wood for decades, unlocking the resonance, openness, and warmth normally reserved for vintage guitars. Paired with solid African mahogany back and sides, the result is a bold, harmonically rich voice that responds beautifully to both light fingerpicking and dynamic strumming. The Macassar ebony fretboard and bridge provide stability and sonic depth, while deluxe vintage-style gold tuners and a tasteful abalone rosette round out the instrument’s refined aesthetic.

Key Features:

  • Torrefied solid Sitka spruce top using Cort's ATV process for vintage-inspired tone

  • Solid African mahogany (okoume) back and sides for rich, balanced sound

  • Traditional OM body with 45mm (1 ¾") nut width ideal for fingerstyle playing

  • Macassar ebony fretboard and bridge for smooth feel and tonal clarity

  • Deluxe vintage-style tuners and abalone rosette for elegant visual appeal
