The Cort Gold-O6 Acoustic Electric Guitar is a high-quality instrument that offers exceptional sound and craftsmanship. Designed with a focus on sound, the Cort Gold-O6 provides a superior playing experience and a vintage-inspired tone right from the first strum.
Here are the key features of the Cort Gold-O6:
Aged to Vintage Top (ATV): The solid Sitka spruce top undergoes a special torrefaction process called ATV (Aged to Vintage). This treatment gives the guitar the tonal qualities of a decades-old, highly sought-after acoustic guitar. The torrefaction process allows the wood to cure and open up, resulting in a big and open tone that is usually found in vintage instruments. With the Cort Gold-O6, you can experience this amazing tone right out of the box.
Superior Craftsmanship: The Cort Gold-O6 is built with meticulous attention to detail and superior craftsmanship. Every aspect of the guitar, from the choice of tonewoods to the construction techniques, is designed to enhance the overall sound and playability. Cort has dedicated their expertise to creating the best acoustic guitars they have ever built, and the Cort Gold-O6 reflects their commitment to quality.
Solid Sitka Spruce Top: The top of the Cort Gold-O6 is made from solid Sitka spruce, a popular tonewood known for its strength and resonance. Sitka spruce produces a well-balanced sound with a clear and articulate high-end, warm and rich midrange, and a tight and focused low-end. It is a versatile tonewood that is suitable for various playing styles and genres.
Excellent Tonewood Selection: Cort has carefully selected high-quality tonewoods for the Gold Series guitars. The choice of tonewoods contributes to the guitar's overall tone and projection. The combination of the solid Sitka spruce top and the back and sides results in a well-balanced and resonant sound.
