D'Addario Phosphor Bronze Loop End Mandolin Strings

D'Addario EJ74 Phosphor Bronze Loop End Mandolin Strings are the standard established by David Grisman and Ricky Skaggs, and remain D'Addario's best-selling mandolin set. They deliver a warm and bright phosphor bronze tone with the optimal blend of tight playing tension and strong projection, and loop end construction gives them a universal fit.

D'Addario introduced phosphor bronze to string making back in 1974, and it has become synonymous with warm, bright, well-balanced acoustic mandolin tone. Each string is precision wound with corrosion-resistant phosphor bronze onto a carefully drawn, hexagonally shaped high carbon steel core, ideal for mandolin players who want long-lasting, bright tone with excellent intonation.
