Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

Hand-built in regional Victoria by master luthier David Worthy, the Vintage Model reflects decades of refined craftsmanship paired with a deep respect for traditional acoustic design. Featuring a Sitka spruce top matched with Indian rosewood back and sides, this guitar delivers a warm, open voice with excellent balance, clarity and dynamic response. The mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge provide a familiar, comfortable feel, while careful voicing ensures a responsive instrument suited to both fingerstyle and articulate flatpicking.

Originally conceived with distinctly old-world styling, the Vintage Model has evolved into a more expressive and visually striking instrument, blending classic proportions with tasteful modern appointments. Exotic figured blackwood binding, a spalted maple rosette and Waverly open-back tuners with koa buttons elevate the aesthetic, while hand-scalloped, tuned bracing and a carbon fibre–reinforced neck ensure long-term stability and exceptional tonal consistency. Built entirely by hand near Dandenong, this is a standout example of contemporary Australian luthiery.
