The Iris DF 'Relic Tobacco Burst' Acoustic Guitar combines vintage charm with genuine playability, an instrument that's as good to look at as it is to play. Its dreadnought body pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides for a tone that's rich in warmth and clarity, and the Relic Tobacco Burst finish gives it an aged appearance, complete with subtle lacquer checking and yellowing, so it looks and feels like an instrument that's been cherished for decades. A 25" scale length and 1-11/16" nut width keep it comfortable and responsive for strumming full chords or working through intricate fingerstyle passages alike.
Scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing adds projection and resonance beyond what the dreadnought size would suggest, and custom Golden Age relic brass tuners with off-white buttons carry the vintage look through to the headstock. A bone nut and saddle keep tuning stable and tone consistent, and the guitar ships with a protective hardshell case, ideal for players who want a genuinely aged-looking dreadnought without hunting down an actual vintage instrument.
