Founded by master luthier Alister Atkin in Canterbury, England, Atkin Guitars are celebrated for their meticulous craftsmanship and vintage-inspired tone. Each instrument is hand-built using time-honoured techniques and premium tonewoods, delivering the warmth, resonance, and character of the golden-era acoustics that inspired them. Combining modern precision with classic soul, Atkin guitars have earned a reputation among discerning players worldwide for their exceptional sound and authentic feel.

The Atkin OO14 Dust Bowl evokes the spirit of 1930s Depression-era acoustics — compact, soulful, and full of character. Hand-built in Canterbury, England, this all-mahogany small-body guitar delivers a warm, dry voice with a distinct midrange push that’s perfect for blues, ragtime, and fingerstyle players. Its scalloped bracing and lightweight construction create a remarkably open and resonant sound, while the soft-V neck profile feels immediately familiar and comfortable in the hand.

Finished in Atkin’s beautifully aged nitrocellulose lacquer, the OO14 Dust Bowl has the look and feel of a well-loved vintage guitar straight from a bygone era. Rounded fretboard edges and a 16" radius Indian rosewood fingerboard make it effortless to play, while its balanced tonal response and articulate bass lend it a timeless musicality that’s equally suited to studio or stage.
