The Martin Custom Artist X D-X2E Molly Tuttle brings the look, feel and spirit of Molly's iconic 1943 D-18 into a rugged, player-friendly X Series platform. Built around a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing, this dreadnought delivers clear projection, strong fundamentals and the punchy response that flatpickers and bluegrass players love. A fast, comfortable 1940s-inspired neck profile with a 1 11/16" nut width makes this model instantly familiar and easy to play, from hard-driving flatpicking to fluid runs across the fretboard.
Visually, the D-X2E Molly Tuttle stands out with a vintage sunburst finish, custom moon phase fingerboard inlays and oval tuner buttons that reflect Molly's unique style. Figured mahogany HPL back and sides provide excellent durability and consistency across changing climates, making it a reliable choice for travel and regular gigging.
