The Maton EA80C 'Australian' Acoustic Electric Guitar is a celebration of Maton’s commitment to local tonewoods and master craftsmanship. With over five decades of experience shaping native timbers, this dreadnought cutaway model features a solid Bunya top paired with “AA” Blackwood back and sides, delivering a harmonically rich tone with deep lows, crisp highs, and plenty of dynamic responsiveness. The solid Blackwood neck and Desert Acacia fingerboard and bridge provide a smooth playing surface and enhance tonal clarity, making the EA80C a versatile performer in any setting.

Aesthetically, the EA80C is every bit as impressive as its sound. The guitar showcases elegant herringbone purfling, a Blackwood and Maple pinstripe backstrip, and Blackwood binding, highlighted by a UV gloss finish that brings out the natural grain and figure of the woods. Maton’s scalloped X-bracing allows the top to resonate freely while maintaining structural integrity, offering players exceptional projection and tonal balance. Whether you're fingerpicking or strumming, the EA80C responds with articulate definition and warmth.
