The Eastman AR805CE is a premium Venetian cutaway archtop that brings together the finest materials and construction techniques available at its price point, delivering a warm, sophisticated archtop voice with the upper-fret access and tonal versatility that performing jazz and blues guitarists demand. The solid spruce top is paired with solid hand-carved maple back and sides - a tonewood combination at the heart of the archtop tradition - producing the warm, woody, and richly resonant tone that defines the finest jazz guitar playing, with the natural clarity and articulation that hand-carved maple construction uniquely provides. The Goldburst finish adds a warm, luminous visual character that complements the natural beauty of the spruce and maple with genuine elegance.

A Lollar Custom Wound Imperial Humbucker in the neck position delivers the warm, full, and harmonically complex single-pickup tone that suits the AR805CE's jazz and blues character perfectly - clear and articulate when played clean, singing and expressive when pushed. The adjustable ebony bridge, ebony tailpiece on brass, gold Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons, 7-ply ivoroid binding throughout including f-holes and headstock, pearl headstock logo, and ebony pickguard with ivoroid binding reflect a level of material quality and visual refinement that sets the AR805CE firmly apart from mass-produced archtop alternatives. Ideal for jazz, blues, and fingerstyle players who want a seriously appointed, hand-carved archtop with a genuinely premium pickup at a price that makes this calibre of instrument accessible.

This 2024-built guitar is in immaculate condition, with only light playwear to the pickguard and a perfect medium action. The AR805ce is lauded widely as one of the best bang-for-buck jazz guitars available, and this is a beautiful example. Includes original hardshell case.
