An open pore finish lets the wood breathe more freely than a sealed lacquer, contributing to a livelier, more resonant tone that develops further with playing time. Fitted with a maple neck, bone nut and saddle, and hand-scalloped X bracing, the E1D offers a warm, articulate response well suited to strumming and fingerstyle alike.
