The Eastman MD505 A-Style Mandolin is a perfect example of “Old World” craftsmanship meeting modern playability. Hand-carved from premium solid spruce and solid flamed maple, it delivers a warm, woody tone with vintage character and outstanding projection. The A-style body design with f-holes provides punch and clarity, making this mandolin an excellent choice for bluegrass, folk, and classical players alike.
A glossy nitrocellulose finish enhances both the natural resonance and timeless look of the instrument, while an ebony fingerboard and compensated ebony bridge provide smooth playability and accurate intonation. Complete with ivoroid binding, white mother-of-pearl inlays, and reliable chrome hardware, the MD505 offers elegant aesthetics and performance-ready reliability. It also comes with a hardshell case, making it gig- and travel-ready straight out of the box.
