MD615-SB

Eastman MD615 'Sunburst' F-Style Mandolin

Includes Hardshell Case

The Eastman MD615 'Sunburst' is a standout hand-carved mandolin offering vintage tone, premium materials and genuine value. Individually crafted using traditional "Old World" techniques, this F-style model delivers rich projection and a warm, woody tone that suits bluegrass, folk and roots styles, with a hand-carved solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides producing a resonant, articulate voice.

The MD615 features upgraded tonewoods over the MD515, along with a Gibson-style sunburst that gives it a distinctly classic look. An ebony fingerboard and compensated bridge provide excellent playability and intonation, while the built-in Fishman pickup keeps it stage-ready without sacrificing natural tone, making this mandolin ideal for serious players after tone, style and reliability, complete with a hardshell case.
