The Eastman El Rey 'Gold Burst' is an electric mandolin built for players after a genuinely different sound and look. A solid maple top pairs with a solid one-piece mahogany back and sides, and a custom-made Lollar humbucker pickup drives a rich, versatile electric voice with dedicated tone and volume controls, finished in a striking Gold Burst that sets it apart from any traditional acoustic mandolin.

A maple neck and ebony fingerboard, set with pearl El Rey thumbnail inlays, give the El Rey a smooth, fast feel across its 13 7/8" scale length. Geared tuners, an adjustable compensated ebony bridge and a cast aluminium tailpiece provide dependable tuning stability, while a single-acting truss rod, bone nut and Jescar fretwire round out a genuinely playable instrument. Ideal for mandolin players wanting an electric option for stage or studio, it comes complete with a hardshell case.
