Esteve Crossover 'Natural' Cedar Cutaway Classical Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Esteve Crossover is a Spanish-handcrafted nylon-string acoustic-electric that solves one of the most common challenges facing players who love classical tone but come from a steel-string or electric background - the transition between nylon and steel string playing. Built in Valencia by Guitarras Esteve, a family guitar-making company with roots going back to 1957 and a reputation for combining old-world Spanish craftsmanship with modern player needs, the Crossover bridges the gap between classical tradition and contemporary playability in a way that feels genuinely natural from the first note.

The narrower 48mm nut width - significantly more accessible than the standard 52mm classical nut - and the 16" radius curved fingerboard make chording, bending, and position work feel familiar to players coming from steel-string or electric instruments without sacrificing the warmth, expressiveness, and tonal complexity of a properly built Spanish nylon-string guitar. The solid cedar top delivers the warm, immediately responsive classical tone that cedar is celebrated for, while the Venetian cutaway provides comfortable upper-fret access for melodic playing and performance work. Fishman Sonitone electronics with built-in tuner provide transparent, reliable amplified performance, while the adjustable truss rod ensures long-term neck stability and easy action adjustment - another practical crossover-friendly feature rarely found on traditional classical instruments. Ideal for steel-string and electric players exploring nylon-string tone, performing musicians who need a reliable amplified classical voice, and anyone who wants a genuine Spanish-made crossover guitar at a serious quality level.

Features

• Solid cedar top delivers warm, immediately responsive classical tone with rich harmonic content - cedar's characteristic fast response and natural depth making the Crossover feel expressive and rewarding from the very first note.
• Narrower 48mm nut width and 16" radius curved fingerboard significantly reduce the transition difficulty for steel-string and electric players - making classical technique more accessible without compromising the nylon-string tonal experience.
• Venetian cutaway provides comfortable upper-fret access for melodic and lead playing - extending the Crossover's versatility well beyond the range available on a standard non-cutaway classical guitar.
• Fishman Sonitone electronics deliver transparent, natural-sounding amplified classical tone suitable for live performance and studio recording.
• Adjustable truss rod ensures long-term neck stability and easy action adjustment - a practical crossover-friendly feature that makes the Esteve Crossover far more serviceable and adaptable than traditional classical construction allows.
