The Eastman MD615-GB represents the pinnacle of value and craftsmanship in Eastman's mandolin range, individually hand-built using traditional "Old World" techniques. This F-style mandolin combines rich tonewoods with modern reliability: a solid hand-carved spruce top and flamed maple back and sides deliver a warm, woody voice well suited to bluegrass, folk and roots styles, and the gloss finish enhances resonance while showing off the mandolin's striking Goldburst aesthetic.

An ebony fingerboard and compensated ebony bridge, together with nickel hardware and pearl inlays, make the MD615-GB as considered in the details as it is in tone. A K&K Duotone pickup keeps the instrument stage-ready without compromising its natural acoustic voice, ideal for gigging mandolin players who want genuine tonal character live, with a hardshell case included for protection.
