This Fender Custom Shop Limited 1963 Telecaster Relic is instrument number 53 in a certified Limited Edition run, built by masterbuilder C.W. Fleming and delivered to Fender Custom Shop Australia through the 2019 Mid-Year event. The 1963 Telecaster configuration is one of the most refined and celebrated expressions of the Telecaster format, and this Relic example honours that specification with a lightweight 2-piece alder body, tinted lacquer in Faded/Aged 3-Tone Sunburst, and a round laminate maple neck with 60s oval C profile.

A pair of hand-wound Texas Special pickups deliver the bright, cutting, dynamically expressive single-coil Telecaster voice of the early 1960s, routed through a 3-way switch with Modern Tele wiring and groundshield, ideal for players chasing genuine vintage Fender tone with modern reliability. The Relic treatment produces aged lacquer wear, checking and hardware ageing consistent with a well-loved original, and this 2019-built example remains in fantastic condition, complete with its original hardshell case and case candy.
