The Fender Custom Shop 1955 Limited Edition Relic Stratocaster captures the unmistakable look, feel and tone of a true early Strat, delivering vintage character with modern playability. Built with a lightweight ash body and finished in a beautifully aged relic lacquer, it offers the resonance, snap and dynamic response that defined the golden era of Fender, from its classic 2-Tone Sunburst finish through to its period-correct appointments.
Hand-wound '55 single-coil pickups deliver everything from bell-like cleans to rich, bluesy overdrive with exceptional clarity and articulation. The quartersawn maple neck enhances stability while offering a comfortable feel, paired with a modern 9.5" radius and 6105 frets for effortless bends and expressive playing. This individual example, built in 2015, has light, natural relicing and a neck profile that's hefty without being chunky, and it's ideal for a player after a genuinely versatile Strat with real playing history behind it.
