The Fender Custom Shop 1955 Limited Edition Relic Stratocaster captures the unmistakable look, feel, and tone of a true early Strat, delivering vintage character with modern playability. Built with a lightweight ash body and finished in a beautifully aged relic lacquer, this instrument offers the resonance, snap, and dynamic response that defined the golden era of Fender. From its classic 2-tone sunburst finish to its period-correct appointments, every detail reflects Fender’s obsessive approach to vintage accuracy.

Equipped with hand-wound ‘55 single-coil pickups, this Strat delivers everything from bell-like cleans to rich, bluesy overdrive with exceptional clarity and articulation. The quartersawn maple neck enhances stability while offering a comfortable feel, paired with a modern 9.5" radius and 6105 frets for effortless bends and expressive playing. A vintage-style synchronized tremolo and 5-way switching round out a highly versatile instrument that blends classic tone with contemporary performance.

This 2015-built Stratocaster is light, snappy and plays like butter - what more could you want? The factory relicing is great and not overdone, the neck profile is hefty without being chunky, and the pickups absolutely nail all the classic Strat tones that you could ever need. A Goldilocks Strat with enough versatility to become your number 1! Includes original hardshell case and case candy.
